A. Tap on the flower you want to remove (make sure you get the right one!). Press the Uproot button and then confirm you want to destroy the flower.

If the Uproot button is disabled then the flower is probably still being exhibited on the phone's home-screen. Flowers cannot be uprooted while they are still being exhibited.
